Population

Brisbane is small enough to be friendly and big enough to be fun. The greater Brisbane area, including the Gold and Sunshine Coasts, has a population around 2 million.

Climate

Brisbane enjoys a subtropical climate with warm summers and cool, sunny winters. Temperatures range from an average high of thirty degrees Celcius in the summer to an average low of ten degrees Celcius in the winter. The rainy season is from January to April. This temperate climate allows people to take advantage of an outdoor, leisurely lifestyle.
