Workshops, seminars and online tutorials

KickSTART, StudySMART lets you search for workshops, seminars and online tutorials for all students and staff who wish to develop their study, research, writing skills.

Where to go for assistance

QUT Library provides free information and research skills workshops to help students find, use and manage information efficiently. Free academic skills workshops are also offered to help improve students' study and learning skills.

Librarians and Peer Advisers are available on Library Help Desks to provide one-on-one assistance. Academic Skills Advisers can also be contacted for individual consultations (upon referral).

PILOT, an online tutorial about using the Library and information resources effectively, and online academic skills tutorials are also provided to help students succeed in their study.
