International Visitors
The International Visitors Program facilitates the visits of:
- Officials from foreign governments
- Staff from overseas universities, colleges and other institutions
- Staff from partner institutions
- QUT's international representatives
- Prospective international students
- Other interested parties
QUT welcomed nearly 300 international visitors in 2008. Visitors to QUT come from the Americas, Europe, Asia, South Pacific and the Middle East with the purpose of identifying areas of mutual collaboration.
These discussions include joint research opportunities, Study Abroad, staff and student exchanges, identifying and developing joint programs, articulation arrangements and other international programs.
The visits to QUT are hosted with a view to establishing new or improved working relationships that contribute towards enhancing QUT's international and domestic reputation.
QUT International works closely with the Faculties and Divisions within QUT to arrange a suitable program for international visitors who plan to have discussions with the various areas of the University.
QUT staff can also email the Visits Coordinator for information on who’s visiting QUT.
