QUT research informs industry innovation and delivers positive social change through close links with industry, government, and the community. QUT has an established track record in attracting competitive research funding through national funding bodies, including:
- Australian Research Council (ARC), which advises the Australian Government on research matters and manages the National Competitive Grants Program.
- Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) program administered by the Commonwealth Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research
- National Health and Medical Research Council: Australia's peak body for supporting health and medical research.
