International research
opportunities
"Research is best performed on the international stage. That's why I'm excited to undertake some of my postgraduate studies at the ETH Zurich in Switzerland." — Victoria Toal, PhD Candidate
QUT encourages its researchers to pursue international opportunities such as visiting international experts in their field of study, attending conferences, and taking field trips to conduct research. You may need to travel to access specialised equipment or consult significant archives relevant to your research, or perhaps some of your research is location specific.
Financial support
Funding for international travel is available to students through:
- the university's Grant-in-Aid scheme
- faculty stipends and allowances
- a range of scholarships.
